Perimenopause & Menopause

Hormonal Transitions

Embracing Change for a Healthier Future

Perimenopause and menopause are powerful life transitions not illnesses, but shifts in physiology that can influence how you feel, think, sleep, and move. These changes are deeply connected to stress, gut health, nutrient status, metabolic function, and the nervous system, which is why symptoms can feel so widespread and unpredictable.

Every woman’s experience of menopause is different and there is no set pattern of symptoms or set timeline. For some women the transition through menopause can take 10 years. Some women experience hot flushes, others experience mood or memory issues and some may just experience occasional fatigue. What we know for sure is that these symptoms are not something you simply have to “push through.”

With the right support, this stage can become a time of strength, clarity, and renewed wellbeing.

Common Concerns During Perimenopause & Menopause

  • hot flushes and night sweats
  • disrupted or poor-quality sleep
  • anxiety, irritability, or brain fog
  • weight gain or metabolic changes
  • reduced bone density or joint discomfort
  • fatigue, low motivation, or burnout
  • vaginal dryness or discomfort and reduced libido
  • changes in cycle length, flow, or predictability

These symptoms reflect the body adapting to hormonal shifts but they also highlight areas where support can make a meaningful difference.

A Whole-Body, Balanced Approach

We support:

  • Hormonal balance and symptom management through nutrition, evidence based herbal medicine, and lifestyle strategies. While these strategies are effective for many women, we also provide seamless integration of additional support for women on HRT. We advocate for what achieves the best outcome for women, and collaborate with doctor and your healthcare team to achieve this.
  • Metabolic health, including blood sugar stability and mitochondrial energy
  • Bone strength with targeted nutrients and whole-body movement
  • Nervous-system regulation to ease anxiety, sleep issues, and stress reactivity
  • Gut and microbiome health, which influence inflammation, mood, and hormone metabolism
  • Long-term wellbeing, helping you feel grounded, informed, and empowered

Supporting You Through Every Stage

To better understand your metabolic, hormonal and nervous system health we may recommend additional testing pathology, hormonal, genetic or microbiome testing. Armed with this knowledge we develop a detailed treatment plan specifically for you that addresses your symptoms and how to make informed decisions on your health during the later stages of menopause and beyond.

Our goal is to help you feel supported, informed, and confident. With the right guidance, this transition can become a powerful opportunity to strengthen your health, reconnect with your body, and build long-term resilience.
