The Athlete Sanctuary is a haven

for  active people who want to get the most of themselves and out of life.

How Are We Different?

The Athlete Sanctuary provides holistic healthcare through remote consultations and from three locations in Ballarat, Torquay and Carlton (Melbourne).   We consider all systems of the body and their interrelationships and restore balance so the body can perform at its best. We place an emphasis on identifying the underlying causes by drawing on scientific research, examinations, pathology tests and investigations under a clinical healthcare framework.

We care for active people of all ages and abilities with a wide-range of sports. Some of the more common issues we address include fatigue, anaemia, menopause, female specific training issues, poor recovery, anxiety and stress, insomnia, hormonal issues, fertility, immune and digestive complaints. Our nutritional advice is tailored to meet the demands of training, competition and recovery for athletes and general illness prevention and recovery.

We provide a treatment plan that is tailored to each individual. Our treatment recommendations and medicines are TGA approved,  contain the highest quality ingredients, and undergo rigorous quality control manufacturing.  We also understand the needs of elite athletes and provide solutions that are ASADA and WADA appropriate.

We work collaboratively with other medical practitioners, sports practitioners,  coaches and physical therapists to obtain the best possible outcome for you.

Our practitioners hold the highest naturopathy qualification available in Australia and undertake intensive ongoing training.
